Sumitomo Project

Redesigned a velocity reducer, optimizing the shaft cover design and economize its manufacturing process. As part of the project, I assumed a hoist with a maximum capacity of one ton as an application, in order to understand the system thoroughly and apply it in this context.

Gcode programmed in Autodesk Fusion to manufacture in CNC Machine the Axis of the prototype.

Proposed an efficient solution and feasable design to improve on a section of a vertical velocity reducer. 

Made the selection of the material, plan of manufacture, design proposal and the budget plan.
