Received a “Minor” in Aeronautics, by participating in the preliminar numerical design, CAD of the Internal and external structure, Ansys FEA and CFD Simulation, manufacture and flight of the plane.
Made the airplane based on the Messerschmitt Bf109 a german Airplane widely used in World War II. The Preliminar Numerical Design was worked between Python and Matlab.
The dimensions of the airplane were scaled to a size of a kit-airplane. Worked in Solid Works for the CAD design. Then simulated in Ansys individually through components and the entire airplane to identify and justify the materials we used.
Worked with laser cutter machines to manufacture the wood balse for the internal structure of the airplane. Mixed additive manufacturing for the horizontal and vertical stabilizers.
